
The Baha Mousa Inquiry is presently on a short recess but will recommence on Wednesday 2 June at the hearing room on Furnival Street in central London.
A number of important witnesses will give evidence before Sir William Gage during the 2, 3 and 4 June. These witnesses will include a member of the civil service who gave legal and policy advice, a former minister and a number of high ranking military witnesses.
Amongst those giving evidence of particular note are Adam Ingram the former Minister of State for the Armed Forces. Air Chief Marshall Brian Burridge who exercised control over UK forces in Iraq in early 2003 will also give evidence as will Major General William Moore who commanded 19 Mechanised Brigade in late 2003 in South East Iraq.
